Genealogy access is counted by the number of different genealogy records opened each day; repeated views of the same record on the same day are not counted again. The quota resets daily at 00:00 Beijing time. Genealogy catalog searches are not counted.

Usage Rules
Your data will still be retained after expiration
Membership Expiration
After an annual membership expires, it will automatically be downgraded to a free membership. Saved genealogies and family information will not be deleted, but features such as adding new content, high-definition export, and packaged downloads will follow the rules for free members.
Lifetime Membership
Lifetime means the current ZongMai account will enjoy the benefits of this tier on a long-term basis. It does not mean that AI, OCR, SMS, video, printing, or manual services can be used for free without limit.
Data and Account
Membership benefits are tied to a unified account and may not be resold. Family information is accessed by authorization by default; users should ensure that uploaded content comes from lawful sources and respects the privacy of relatives.

Do regular users have to purchase a membership to create a genealogy?
No. Free members can create a basic genealogy, add relatives, and invite family members to collaborate; you can upgrade later when you reach capacity limits or need high-definition export or a complete backup.
Will family information be deleted after an annual membership expires?
No. The account will be downgraded to a free membership, and existing information will continue to be retained and viewable; new additions and advanced operations that exceed free membership benefits will be restricted.
After purchasing a lifetime membership, are AI memoirs and OCR free?
No. AI memoirs, OCR, photo restoration, AI videos, and notification sending incur ongoing costs and are charged separately by credits or by project.
What counts as a valid invitation to a relative?
The relative must register using an independent, genuine account, claim their own information, and have the relationship confirmed by the inviter. Duplicate accounts, false relationships, and abnormal devices will not be counted toward rewards.
